Used family car prices rise in Saudi Arabia

(MENAFN) Prices of used family cars rose in Saudi Arabia in the last three weeks period. The increase hit 10 percent and is expected to keep rising to reach up to 20 percent, Arab New reported.

The rise in prices was cited to the Umrah season and the approaching Haj season as well as the new school year. This surge in used family car prices is seen regularly during this period of every year.

In an attempt to increase services given by car agents, the Saudi Ministry of Commerce and Industry asked US automakers to increase their business in the Saudi market.

Deputy Sales Manager at Suzuki Saudi Arabia Mahir Al-Nabawi expected that car sales in the Saudi market would go up to USD25 billion.
