(MENAFN) The whole value of bills for elect consumption amid the last month amounted to EGP5.5bn, of which elect firms collected EGP3.8bn.
Accordingly, the commercial and household sectors are the ones most committed to paying for their consumption, as almost 85 percent of clients pay their bills.
In addition, electricity firms are still waiting to collect EGP1.7bn for elect consumption, while those amounts have not been paid yet by ministers.
Amid the firms that achieve high collection rates of more than 90 percent are Middle Egypt Elect Distribution Co., South Cairo Elect Distribution Co. and others.
