VAT tax returns record 51pct increase in Sep in Lebanon

(MENAFN) VAT tax returns posted an increase of 51.39 percent in the first 12 days of Sep, showing jump in the number of Arab Gulf tourists who bought items from Lebanon.

Accordingly, consumer tax return in the cited period increased by 51.39 percent, while the bulk of the tourists reimbursed were from KSA, Kuwait, Qatar and UAE.

Furthermore, number of Arab tourists till the end of Sep will rise substantially, while most of those who purchased clothes and garments from Lebanon are from Gulf States.
