(MENAFN) Vinci Construction UK, a unit of France’s Vinci Construction, announced that it has been awarded USD178.6 million Saudi contracts, reported Arabian Business.

The company added that a joint venture with Al Muhaidib Contracting Company (AMC) has won two contracts for the Saudi Arabian National Water Company for the design and establishment of the Briman Strategic Water Reservoir and the Al Khumra Lifting Station.

It added that the water reservoir contract would include the design and construction of a 1.5 million cubic meter water storage facility, in addition to the operation and management of the reservoir.

On the other hand, the other contract includes the design, procurement, and construction of the treated effluent lifting station, which would be followed with an operation and maintenance contract.

The station is designed to gather treated water from existing plants into an underground wet well and pumping station.

It is worth noting that the two projects are located in Jeddah.
