VistaJet to expand services across the Middle East

17 Nov 2011

(MENAFN) Thomas Flohr, chairman of VistaJet, said the Swiss private jet company expects strong demand for its services across the Middle East representing 15 percent of its revenues by 2012, Arabian Business reported.

He said that Saudi Arabia is currently driving 70 percent of the carrier traffic in the Middle East, and that demand is expected to increase from across the region particularly from UAE and Qatar.

The company announced it will provide a long-haul Bombardier aircraft to its fleet in the Middle east to service the forecasted growth.

VistaJet placed an order for three new Bombardier aircraft in addition to the company’s existing USD2 billion order backlog, which will expand its fleet to over 60 aircrafts by 2015.
