(MENAFN) Vodafone Qatar’s CEO, Richard Daly, announced that in the 6 months ended September 30, the company’s revenue jumped by 18 percent to USD190.99 million, reported The Peninsula.
Daly said that earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) surged 57 percent from last year’s same period to USD27.99 million.
He added that average revenue per user (ARPU) rose by 7 percent from a year earlier, whereas customer base grew by 15 percent to 936,300 mobile customers.
Nevertheless, the company posted a net loss of USD65.85 million in the 6-month period, an underlying improvement of 8.5 percent compared to 2011’s same period.
