(MENAFN) Mobile operator Vodafone Qatar reported lower quarterly losses as its revenue and subscriber base rose, Reuters reported.
The firm, which ended Qatar Telecom’s (Qtel) domestic monopoly in 2009, had USD34.78 million loss in the fourth quarter ended in March 31, compared with USD31.6 million a year earlier.
Vodafone Qatar also reported USD106.7 million loss for the full fiscal year, compared to USD131.8 million in the previous financial year.
The company gained a full-year revenue of USD263.4, up from USD205.25 million in 2011, as its customer base rose 11 percent to 837,233, taking its market share up to 28.5 percent.
