(MENAFN) Vodafone Qatar recorded a net profit of QR134mn for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2017, posting QR169mn from losses in the previous year.
Additionally, the telecom operator reported that EBITDA grew by 34 percent year on year to QR537mn due to gains in post-paid market share.
Moreover, whole number of mobile customers reached 1.5mn, showing a decline of 3 percent over the same period of 2016 due to a one-time disconnection of customers.
Accordingly, the Board is supported by the progress of the business and, in order to accelerate investment in coverage and fixed line chances, has decided to recommend that no distribution made in this year.
