(MENAFN) Egypt-based Vodafone is set to spend USD1.25 billion on network upgrade over the next three years to keep up with data services demands, Gulf Daily News reported.
Investments are to cover buying new equipment, developing base stations and extending coverage to include new areas, CEO said in a statement.
“By end of this fiscal year in March, we would have spent more than USD392 million which equals one third of the allocated investments and also more than 30 percent of our yearly revenues in Egypt,” he added.
