Volkswagen Q1 sales in Dubai, Northern Emirates up 31.5%

(MENAFN) Volkswagen General Manager at Dubai’s Al Nabooda Automobiles, Thierry Seys, stated that sales of the German car during the first quarter jumped by 31.5 percent in Dubai and the Northern Emirates to 900 units, reported Emirates 24/7.
Seys added that of total sales, 49 percent were Volkswagen sedan models, as they attract customers in the region for their safety, design and competitive pricing.
He added that sales of the Volkswagen Passat, which arrived in the Middle East last year, reached 190 cars, while sales of the Volkswagen Jetta exceeded 169.
It is worth noting that Al Nabooda Automobiles is the sole dealer for Volkswagen in Dubai.
