(MENAFN) Kuwait-based Zain is expecting its deal to operate the largest mobile company in Lebanon to be postponed until the new Lebanese government is formed, The Peninsula Qatar reported.
Zain’s chief executive said: “There’s an interim government – nobody wants to make a decision on a long-term contract. I think it will keep getting rolled over until you get a final government in place.”
Lebanon has not been able to form its new government for six month now because of political division in the country.
