(MENAFN) Zain Saudi reported USD112 million loss in the first quarter, down by 21 percent from USD141.84 recorded a year earlier, Reuters reported.
It also reported operational loss of USD50.9 million for the first quarter, down from USD62.12 million.
Zain said the narrowing of its losses during the quarter came from the drop in operational costs by USD1.87 million.
The telecom operator said it made an overall profit of USD187.16 million for the quarter, down from USD190.9 million a year earlier.
